Gift Wrap - Homemade Flowers

Gifts and cards sometimes just need that extra touch to spice them up a little bit. By using brightly coloured paper, these homemade flowers will catch anyone's attention. But they don't have to be limited to cards or gifts - use them to decorate a place setting, the cover of a journal, the possibilities are endless!

flower template This daisy is a simple but eye catching homemade flower. To start, trace the template onto white paper three times, and trace the inner circle onto yellow paper once. Cut out all the shapes. Using a dab of glue, glue the center of the first cut-out flower to the center of the second, with petals slightly overlapping. Repeat with the third flower, and glue the yellow dot into the middle of the top flower.

flower template This homemade flower is a little bit more advanced than the daisy, and is a positively adorable addition to cards or gifts. To start, trace the two largest flowers onto a brightly coloured paper. Trace the third largest onto a white paper, the larger circle onto another brightly coloured paper and the smaller circle onto a nice, deep contrasting colour. Cut all of these shapes out.

Using a dab of glue, glue the centers of the two larger cut-out homemade flowers together. Repeat with third flower and two circles. Presto - your own homemade flower!
